Ha Long 2D1N Family Trip Review
👉 Transportation:
We traveled from Hanoi to Ha Long. The only drawback was the unpredictable weather, so the trip depended a lot on rain and sunshine.
👉 Hotel:
- Stayed at Ramada Wyndham (Sgotours.com), located right under Bai Chay Bridge.
- Clean, bright rooms, fully equipped like an apartment, with an indoor swimming pool.
- Staff and managers were very friendly and helpful.
👉 Food:
- Day 1 lunch: Ngoc Phuong Nam restaurant – tasty dishes, spacious space.
- Next day lunch: Bun Tu – seafood vermicelli, quite delicious (special touch: malabar spinach in the soup).
- Dinner: Huong Duyen restaurant (Tran Hung Dao street) – fresh food, professional service.
- Breakfast: Buffet at the hotel with many options.
- Specialties: Tried yogurt from Mrs. Cuong (takeaway only due to rain). Another must-try is yogurt from Mrs. Phuong (Tran Quoc Nghien street) – smooth, not icy, chewy pearls, topped with coconut and sesame.
👉 Activities:
- Sun World Dragon Park: Entrance 300,000 VND/person. Very large park, with thrilling rides for kids and lighter ones for adults.
- Sunset Hill Café: Beautiful panoramic view of Ha Long, drinks were nice.
- Hon Gai Beach: Around 6 km from hotel, we went for a short swim.
- Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road: Great for sightseeing, with stunning sea and islands.
- Vincom Plaza: Big shopping center (4 floors).
- Quang Ninh Museum & Dolphin Palace: Entrance 40,000 VND/person.
👉 Conclusion:
Although the trip was only 2 days and 1 night, our family had a joyful and relaxing time.
🔹 Tips: Always check the weather in advance to adjust the itinerary and avoid rainy days.
